If you prioritize cutting-edge comfort above all else, look at Jordan models with better cushioning. If you're on a tight budget, that $180 price tag is steep for a shoe with a classic (read: firm) feel. And if you dislike "any" pre-distressed details on your new kicks, this one will just frustrate you. On foot, it's the classic AJ1 feel – which means don't expect modern, bouncy cushioning. It's firm, stable, and the ankle support is fantastic. The fit is true to size for me. Compared to a newer Jordan, like a 3 or a 4, it's definitely less plush, but that's not the point here. The point is the look. They scream '85 from every angle, and on camera, that vintage aesthetic just pops. It’s all about the style, not supreme comfort. Comparing it to my other Jordans... the "Lost & Found" stands alone. My regular Chicagos look "too new" now! It sits between a retro and an art project.
