Serious comfort seekers — try something with more modern tech. Also, if you have very wide feet, the fit might be too restrictive. And if you're a die-hard OG Jordan 1 High fan who thinks the Mid "isn't the same," well, you already know your answer. Comparing it to the OG High version… you lose some of that iconic collar height, but you also gain easier wearability. For $115 USD versus the often-higher High price, it’s a trade-off many are willing to make. The core DNA of the Jordan 1 is absolutely still there in this Mid model. First try-on of the "Air Jordan 1 Mid" – immediate thoughts? The collar height is perfect for showing off your socks. The materials are what you'd expect for the $120 USD price tag: good, not great. Visually, the Mid offers a cleaner, slightly more modern proportion than the High, in my opinion. It's excellent for adding that sneakerhead touch to an outfit without being too loud.
