Stitching is clean on my pair. The metallic leather is smooth. It's not a luxury leather, but it's durable. Compared to some recent "Jordan" releases, the consistency on Mids seems pretty solid. No major complaints here for $120 USD. Who should maybe avoid it? If you need plush comfort above all else, look elsewhere. Also, if you’re a purest who "only" rocks OG High tops, the "air jordan 1 mid" might not be for you. The lower cut is a distinct look that some just don’t prefer. And if you want the latest tech, this isn’t it. It’s a fashion-first, heritage sneaker, through and through. Alright, so, first look out of the box — this ‘Light Smoke Grey’ "Air Jordan 1 Mid" feels premium. The leather is decently soft, not cardboard-stiff, which is a nice surprise for the $125 price point. I’m digging the clean, wearable color-blocking straight away. It’s a classic "Jordan" silhouette that just works. Is it perfect? Nah. The main con is the materials can be hit or miss. Some colorways use nicer leather, others use stiffer stuff. This one's okay. Also, if you have wide feet, go up half a size for sure. The break-in period is real. But once they mold to your foot, they're great. It's a classic for a reason, even in its Mid form.
