It's a fantastic summer/spring shoe. Who is it "not" for? If you need an everyday beater shoe, or if you prefer understated, all-black styles—this probably isn't your first choice. The Air Jordan 11 Cherry is a statement piece, through and through. Alright, so the "Air Jordan 11 Cherry" is finally here. First thing out of the box—man, that color is vibrant! The white upper with that cherry-red patent leather really "pops" under the lights. For a $225 shoe, the initial craft seems solid, no obvious glue stains. The iconic Jordan 11 silhouette is, of course, an instant classic. A really strong first impression right off the bat. Comparing it to other Jordans? The 11's profile is unique. Next to a chunkier Air Jordan 4 or a lower-cut 1, the 11 'Cherry' looks sleek and almost formal in a sporty way. The height provides great ankle coverage without feeling restrictive. The materials feel a step above many GR Jordan releases lately, which is a major plus for me on this specific model. Now, a potential downside for some: the weight. The Air Jordan 11 Cherry isn't a heavy shoe, but it's not ultra-light either. If you're coming from a modern performance basketball shoe, you'll notice it. This isn't really for cutting on the court anymore - it's a lifestyle icon. So, just keep that in mind if you're super sensitive to shoe weight.
