Comparing it to other Retros, like the Air Jordan 1 or 3, the 11 is in its own league for formal-ish sneaker style. The patent leather gives it a dressier feel than the all-leather 1s. Performance-wise, the 11's cushioning setup is still more modern than many earlier models. It's a great blend of '90s tech and timeless design that still feels relevant. On foot, the comfort is solid. It's not a modern, super-plush ride, but the cushioning is reliable. The patent leather provides good structure and lockdown. They're a bit on the heavier side, honestly, but you expect that with the Air Jordan 11 Retro. The fit is true to size for me. They feel secure for casual wear or light hooping. Now, a potential con for some: the break-in period. That patent leather can be a bit stiff initially and might press on the top of your foot depending on your fit.
