This is a strong release. It fills a gap in the lineup for a bright, yet wearable, non-OG 4. The execution is on point. For $210, I think it's worth it if you love the model. It's a sneaker you'll be happy to pull out of the box for years. Alright, so I just got the "Air Jordan 4 'White Thunder'" in hand. First impression? The color-blocking is super clean and crisp. The white leather upper with those black and thunder yellow accents pops right out of the box. For a Jordan 4, the initial build quality feels solid. It's a really striking shoe right off the bat. Comparing it to other Jordans... it's interesting. It feels more substantial than an AJ1, obviously. The silhouette is bulkier than an AJ3. If you have the "Black Cat" 4s, these are the complete opposite energy. This is a bright, statement piece versus a tonal, stealthy one. Both are great, but for different moods. Walking around in them, the comfort is decent for all-day wear. The Air unit in the heel does its job. The leather on this "White Thunder" colorway needs some breaking in, though. It's a bit stiff out of the box. The mesh panels help with breathability a little. For casual wear, they're totally fine. For performance? That's not really what this model is for anymore.
