The "air jordan mid 1" is a workhorse. But if you're hunting for cutting-edge comfort or strict OG specs, you might be disappointed. Know what you're buying: a legend in a slightly more accessible package. Comparing it directly to the AJ1 High? The "air jordan mid 1" obviously has one less lace hole, so the ankle feel is different—a bit more free. Some purists will always prefer the High, and I get that! But for casual, all-day comfort and easier on/off, I actually prefer the Mid. It's a personal thing, really. Conversely, who should skip it? Hardcore comfort seekers, for sure. Also, if you're a purest for the original '85 High OG shape and details, the Mid’s proportions might feel off.
