It's a fantastic gateway into the Jordan 1 family, for real. Who are these for? Honestly, "first-time Jordan buyers" or anyone wanting a classic silhouette without the High-top price or feel. If you value style & history over max comfort, you'll love these Air Jordan Mid 1s. They're a gateway into the Jordan universe, and a darn good one. Now, a con for some: the comfort tech is dated. If you're used to React foam or Zoom Air, the midsole in the Air Jordan Mid 1 will feel stiff. It’s not for long walks or all-day wear, in my honest opinion. Also, the fit can be a bit narrow. So if you have wide feet, maybe go a half-size up or try them on first. It's a real consideration beyond just the hype. Who should skip it? If you're all about the "highest" quality materials or need that plush, modern cushioning… look elsewhere. Also, hardcore purists who only mess with the OG High-top silhouette might not vibe with the Mid's shorter cut. It's a different beast within the Jordan series.
