You're wearing a piece of sneaker history (well, a version of it). The construction is generally durable for everyday use. However, the "con" for some will be the lack of premium materials or that exact OG specification. If you're a purist, you might only want the Highs. Who are these for? I'd say they're perfect for someone entering the sneaker world, or anyone wanting a reliable, stylish daily shoe. Students, casual wearers, folks who love the AJ1 look but maybe find Highs too tall or too expensive. At around $135 USD, it's a relatively low-risk way to get that iconic Jordan Brand look in your rotation. On foot, they feel secure. The ankle support from the Mid collar is noticeable without being restrictive? It's a great balance. Visually, this "Shadow" colorway is super clean and goes with literally everything. For a classic sneaker from the Jordan series under $150, it's hard to argue with the value proposition here. Sliding these air jordan mid 1s on... immediate comfort. The ankle collar is softer & more flexible than a High, which I actually prefer for casual wear. The padded tongue and interior feel plush. They're not ultra-light, but the weight distribution is good. For all-day wear? I think they'll be just fine, honestly.
