If you're a hardcore OG silhouette collector "only" chasing Highs, this isn't it. If you need plush, modern cushioning for long walks, consider something with more tech. And if you dislike obvious creasing on the toe box, maybe look at a different material. Just my two cents! After a full day in these, my verdict is positive. The Air Jordan Mid 1 is a workhorse. The materials held up, they're comfortable enough, and I got tons of compliments. They don't try to be something they're not. They're a solid, classic sneaker that just works. Comparing it to other Jordans... If you have a High, you don't "need" a Mid, but it's a different vibe. The "Air Jordan Mid 1" is easier to put on and off, for sure. It’s less of a statement, more of an everyday shoe. I find myself grabbing these for quick errands more often than my Highs. The price difference in the "Jordan series" makes the Mid a fantastic entry point. Just know the materials might be slightly different—sometimes less leather, more synthetic.
