The ankle collar gives a nice, secure feel - it's not as restrictive as the Highs, which I actually prefer for everyday wear. The insole is pretty standard, so don't expect ultra-plush cushioning right out of the box. It's that familiar, supportive Jordan 1 feel. Honest talk about the feel: The "air jordan mid 1" is not a "plush" shoe. Your foot sits "on" the platform, not "in" it, if that makes sense. The arch support is minimal.
