.. the fit is true to size for me. The ankle collar gives a nice, secure feel - it's not as restrictive as the Highs, which I actually prefer for everyday wear. The insole is pretty standard, so don't expect ultra-plush cushioning right out of the box. It's that familiar, supportive Jordan 1 feel. Now, the not-so-great part. The break-in period can be "real"—the heel and pinky toe area might rub for the first few wears. Also, that classic Jordan 1 outsole traction? It can get "slippery" on wet surfaces, so maybe not your go-to rain shoe. Just keeping it 100% with you guys. Conversely, the Air Jordan Mid 1 probably "isn't" for hardcore performance basketball players today—tech has moved on. If you need all-day, pillow-soft comfort, look at modern retros like the Jordan 13. This is about style & heritage, first and foremost. Keep those expectations in check. Who should maybe skip it? Serious ballers looking for modern performance tech – look at newer models. Also, if you have very wide feet, the fit can be snug. And if you "only" want the highest OG form, you'll likely stick to the Highs. But for most? This Mid is a great choice.
