The Air Jordan Mid 1 is a workhorse. The materials held up, they're comfortable enough, and I got tons of compliments. They don't try to be something they're not. They're a solid, classic sneaker that just works. Here's the pro: Timeless style. You can't go wrong with a "Jordan 1 Mid". Cons? The break-in period can be stiff, & the materials vary by colorway. For ~$135 USD~, you're paying for the "iconic design" more than premium tech. It's a lifestyle sneaker, first & foremost. On foot, the design really pops. The contrast of the black and white panels is so clean and versatile. I've been wearing these for a few hours now, and they look great with jeans or shorts. The Mid cut is, in my opinion, super underrated in the whole Jordan series. It offers a perfect balance for a lot of outfits. On foot, they feel secure. The ankle support from the Mid collar is noticeable without being restrictive? It's a great balance. Visually, this "Shadow" colorway is super clean and goes with literally everything. For a classic sneaker from the Jordan series under $150, it's hard to argue with the value proposition here.
