The Air Jordan Mid 1 sits, well, in the middle. It's more accessible price-wise (~$135) than many High OG releases. You lose a bit of that iconic high-top collar, but you gain a slightly more modern, wearable profile. It's a fantastic gateway into the Jordan 1 family, for real. Sliding these on... the fit is true to size for me. The insole is pretty basic, so don't expect crazy cloud-like comfort right away—they need a little break-in. The ankle collar on this "Mid" version gives a decent feel, less restrictive than a high-top but still offering good support. For everyday wear and casual ball, the "air jordan mid 1" gets the job done without any drama. For real, the camera LOVES this shoe. I'm filming in some jeans, and the Air Jordan Mid 1 just pops. The black, white, and red color blocking is "timeless". Compared to the OG Highs, you're losing some ankle coverage, but you're gaining a slightly more modern, everyday-friendly profile.
