The flat base and high-top design make them feel solid, not clumsy. Compared to a Jordan 11 or 13, they're definitely less "technical" but way more versatile for daily wear. The break-in period is real, though—expect some stiffness at first in this Jordan Air 1. Now, the potential downside? That flat, firm footbed I mentioned. If you're on your feet all day, it might not be the most comfortable option. Also, the leather can crease — some people hate that. I think it adds character, but it's worth noting. It's not a "performance" shoe by today's standards. After wearing these Jordan 1s for a bit, the leather does break in nicely. The fit is true to size, good width. The grip is decent on dry surfaces.
