It's a structured shoe. The insole is pretty basic, though, so don't expect plush cushioning right away. It's more about that classic, grounded feel, which I actually kind of prefer for everyday wear. Who should probably skip it? Hardcore performance basketball players (obviously) or folks who only buy sneakers based on advanced cushioning tech. Also, if you're super sensitive to a stiff break-in period, this might frustrate you. There are more comfortable "lifestyle" shoes out there for the same price, for sure. Let's talk about the Jordan Air 1 'Light Smoke Grey'. This is a perfect example of a non-OG colorway that just works. The materials feel premium, & the grey nubuck is buttery. On feet, they're surprisingly light! A major pro is how easy they are to style for a casual fit. A con? That outsole picks up dirt like crazy. If you want a low-maintenance shoe, maybe look elsewhere.
