The comfort is "not" for everyone. If you need plush cushioning, look at "Jordan 11"s or "13"s. Also, the leather can crease noticeably (part of the charm for some, a flaw for others). And that high-top can feel restrictive if you're used to lows. It's a style-over-maximum-comfort pick, period. Let's talk about the Jordan Air 1 'Light Smoke Grey'. This is a perfect example of a non-OG colorway that just works. The materials feel premium, & the grey nubuck is buttery. On feet, they're surprisingly light! A major pro is how easy they are to style for a casual fit. A con? That outsole picks up dirt like crazy. If you want a low-maintenance shoe, maybe look elsewhere. On feet, this colorway "pops". The white, black, and Chicago Red just work with everything — jeans, shorts, you name it. The design is so clean and versatile. Compared to some bulkier modern Jordans, the air 1 profile is sleek. It's a shoe that looks better with wear, too. That's a huge plus for me. Not everyone will vibe with it, though. If your priority is cutting-edge comfort or max cushioning for all-day wear, look elsewhere. This isn't that shoe. Also, for some, the $190+ price for a "basic" leather shoe might feel steep. You're paying for the icon status. So, think about what you "really" want from a sneaker before copping this Jordan Air 1.
