For around "$150 USD", you're paying for the "name", the history, & that "bulletproof" construction. If you want a shoe you can beat up & still look fresh, this is it. If you prioritize modern, lightweight tech, look elsewhere. For me? It's a classic for a "reason". Comparing it to, say, a Jordan 1 – this is a different beast. The "jordan air force 1" is bulkier and offers more coverage around the ankle. The toe box is roomier. It's less of a basketball shoe in feel nowadays and more of a lifestyle staple.
