The air unit in the heel is noticeable, but the forefoot is firm. They're not uncomfortable, just "substantial". You feel the weight (which isn't crazy, but it's there). The leather started to crease naturally – which I actually like on an AF1. It adds character. Just know, it's part of the journey with this model. Who might want to skip it? If you prioritize ultimate, cloud-like comfort above all else – maybe look at something with more modern foam. Also, if you need a super lightweight shoe for all-day city exploring, the heft might bother you. It's a style and statement piece first, a comfort-tech shoe second (after break-in, though, it's fine!). On foot, they look even better. That thick midsole and high-top shape give a great profile. This particular pair just goes with "everything"—jeans, shorts, joggers. The white leather pops in natural light. It’s a shoe that looks good on camera and on the street.
