It's a "magnet" for dust, lint, and scuffs. You'll be brushing these off constantly if you want them to stay pristine. Also, if you need super-soft, cloud-like comfort, this isn't it. It's more about style and that classic basketball shoe feel. Comparing it to other Jordans... it's heavier & less flexible than, say, a Jordan 1. But the "Jordan 4" offers more ankle support for sure. Compared to a lighter retro like the Jordan 3, the 'Black Cat' feels more substantial & rugged. It's a different kind of beast. If you love the 4's bulky aesthetic, you'll love this version. Another thing to note: the nubuck. On this "black cat" colorway, it can show scuffs and dust pretty easily. It's not a "wear it in a storm and forget it" kind of shoe. You'll wanna take care of it. Also, the all-black can make the shoe look a bit... monolithic? Some folks might miss having a pop of color somewhere. Comparing it to other Jordans? The AJ4 "Black Cat" is way more wearable daily than, say, a shiny AJ11. It's less bulky than an AJ5, in my opinion. Within the Jordan 4 family, it's arguably the most versatile black-based colorway ever released. It just has that go-anywhere, do-anything attitude.
