The tech is 30+ years old. Also, if you prefer low-top sneakers or ultra-lightweight shoes, the AJ3's cut and weight might feel a bit clunky. It's a style and comfort choice from a different era, updated with a fantastic 'Lucky Shorts' palette. On foot, the comfort is what you expect from a Jordan 3. The air unit in the heel gives that nice, familiar cushioning. The fit is true to size for me—good lockdown around the midfoot. They're not the lightest sneakers, but you get used to it. The 'Lucky Shorts' colorway really pops when you're walking around. Comparing these to other Jordans... the AJ3 'Lucky Shorts' sits in a nice spot. It's more comfortable for all-day wear than, say, a flat-footed AJ1. The cushioning is better than an AJ4 for me, personally. Within the AJ3 family, this is a top-tier colorway. It doesn't have the hype of some collaborations, but that's honestly a plus. You get a fantastic shoe without the insane resale price. On camera, the details pop. The contrast between the white leather, grey elephant print, and that vibrant green is "so" good. It's a statement piece without being too loud. Compared to other Jordan 3s, this "Lucky Shorts" version feels more playful, less serious than some of the OG colorways. A fun twist on a classic.
