If you're into '80s/'90s basketball aesthetics, this is a must. It's also great for anyone wanting a sturdy, statement sneaker that goes with a lot of fits. The Jordan series heritage is a big part of the appeal here. Comparing it to other Jordans? The Air Jordan 4 sits higher off the ground than a Jordan 1, for sure. It's chunkier than a 3, but I think it has more of a modern, wearable shape. The 4 is less bulky than a Jordan 5 or 6. For casual wear, the AJ4 is probably one of the most versatile models in the entire Jordan series lineup. Comparing it to other Jordans? The Air Jordan 4 sits differently than a Jordan 1. It's bulkier, more of a statement. The cushioning is also different—more impact protection than the 1s, but not as plush as, say, a Jordan 13. It occupies its own unique space in the Jordan series, and that's why it's so beloved. Final verdict? I'm keeping these. The Air Jordan 4 remains one of my favorite models, and this 'Military Blue' colorway is executed really well. If you've been wanting a pair of 4s, this is a fantastic option to start with.
