The outsole grip is good for casual use, but I wouldn't rely on it for serious court time. For a Jordan series release, this is a solid "beater" version of an icon. If you love the 11 silhouette but want something more understated, this is it. Who should skip it? If you're on a tight budget or only buy for hype, maybe look elsewhere. At $210 USD, it's an investment. Also, if you need a technical gym or court shoe – this ain't it. The rare air jordan 11 serves a specific, style-first purpose. It's not trying to be something it's not. Sliding these on... wow, immediate difference. They feel "lighter" than a traditional Jordan 11, for sure. The lack of that full-length carbon fiber plate and the different upper construction makes them much more flexible / easy to wear from the first step. Comfort? It's there, but it's a different kind of comfortable. Now, a potential con for purists: the feel is different. If you "live" for that stiff, supportive / "tank-like" feel of OG 11s, you might find these too soft, too light. They don't have that same on-court, performance-ready posture. For casual wear, though? That's actually the big advantage.
