If you're a purest who only wants the exact original specs, this might feel like a step down. The "rare air jordan 1" is about capturing the spirit, not replicating every detail. Keep that in mind. Comparing it directly to my '85 cut Jordan 1s... the shape is different, more modern. The heel isn't as tall, the toe box is slightly roomier. It's a different vibe entirely. The Rare Air Jordan 1 isn't trying to be a retro—it's its own thing. And you know what? I appreciate that approach from the Jordan brand. Comfort is a big talking point.
