For $180, the leather quality feels pretty standard for a GR, but the construction is solid. The shape is that timeless AJ1 silhouette we all love. Just a super versatile start to the collection, honestly. Unboxing this was a "solid" experience. The box, the tissue paper - it all feels premium. Holding the shoe, the shape is on point. This particular Grey version has a really nice, almost weathered look to the leather in certain lights. It doesn’t look or feel cheap. Jordan Brand did a good job here for a non-OG release. Thumbs up for presentation & materials. Holding this "air jordan 1 grey" in hand, the construction feels solid. No major flaws on my pair. When I put them on, the weight is noticeable — they have a substantial feel, which I personally like. It makes them feel durable. Compared to some of the more hyped, deconstructed Jordan 1s (think Off-White), this is a return to the straightforward, classic blueprint. Great for purists. Not so great if you prefer lightweight, minimalist sneakers.
