It's solid; you can feel the reimagined, slightly softer leather compared to old retros. For $180, the initial impression is "very" positive - it's a clean, classic Jordan 1 look. Comparing it directly to the 2015 UNC release, the difference is night & day in terms of material quality. This ‘Reimagined’ version just feels... better. More premium. The color is also slightly different – a bit brighter, which I personally prefer. For the same retail price (adjusted for inflation, the old one was cheaper), you're getting a superior product. As a fan of the Jordan series, I appreciate this kind of update. On feet, the silhouette is just "chef's kiss". This "Reimagined" treatment with the vintage-style collar lining & slightly aged midsole? It adds so much character. Compared to the 2015 UNC release, this "air jordan 1 high unc reimagined" feels more... thoughtful, more premium. It's a worthy update in my book.
