Not ideal for folks who are rough on their kicks or prioritize maximum cushioning. Alright, so I finally got my hands on the "Air Jordan 1 High" in this 'University Blue' colorway — "and man", the box feels premium. First impression? The classic silhouette is just "timeless". The leather here has a nice tumbled texture; it's not the absolute best, but for $180 USD, it's solid. That high-top shape is "iconic". Finally copped the "Heritage" Air Jordan 1 High - the Chicago-inspired color blocking. Reverse colorway is fire. Materials are standard GR quality. On feet, they feel exactly like any other recent AJ1 High - a bit flat, but iconic. The pro? You get that classic Chicago look for (usually) less than the actual Chicago's price. Big con? The white leather scuffs super easily. I'd say these are perfect for beaters or custom projects. Not the best choice if you're looking for premium materials at that $180 USD price point.
