This 'University Blue' pair looks incredible on foot. However, the toe box creases... and it creases "fast". If that's something that bothers you, you might wanna consider another model. The leather has a nice grain to it. Slipping them on? The ankle collar is stiff initially, but it molds to you. They look even better on foot than in the box, that height really works. A downside? They can get warm. Not the most breathable shoe. Compared to a Jordan 1 Low, you get more support but less easy, slip-on vibe. Great for a statement fit, not ideal for super hot days. So I'm lacing up the classic Air Jordan 1 High 'Chicago' (2022 version). The red just pops on camera, it's unreal. First impression? It's "the" blueprint. On foot, it's exactly what you expect: iconic, but not what I'd call comfortable for long walks. The pro is its timeless status in the Jordan series. The con is the price—resale is steep. If this is your grail, go for it. If you just want a comfortable red shoe? There are better, cheaper options. It's a heritage piece, first and foremost. Conversely, it's "not" for everyone. If you need all-day comfort, or have really wide feet, "seriously" consider trying them on first. The narrow fit and firm ride are deal-breakers for some. Also, if you prefer low-tops, the high-top collar might feel restrictive. It's a specific vibe.
