Conversely, who should "avoid" it? If you’re on your feet all day and need cloud-like comfort — look elsewhere (maybe a Jordan 13). If you have very wide feet, the narrow fit can be "truly" uncomfortable. This shoe demands a bit of a sacrifice for the sake of style. Be honest with your needs. Comparing this to my other Jordans... the "Air Jordan 1 High" stands alone. It's not a performance shoe like later models. It's a fashion icon. The ankle padding is thick, which I like for support, but some find it restrictive. My verdict? If you want your first piece of sneaker history, or a pillar for your rotation, get it. If you need all-day comfort, look at Jordan 13s or something more modern. Just laced up this "Air Jordan 1 High". It's the 'Stage Haze' edition with the mostly white upper. The craftsmanship is decent for a general release. On foot, they're stiffer than newer models—no Zoom air here! The advantage is that iconic profile that works with any fit. However, the lack of arch support could be an issue for some. Personally, I think they're best for casual outings and sneakerheads who appreciate the OG design language of the Jordan series.
