Honestly, the fit is classic Jordan 1: a bit stiff at first, but the lockdown is secure. It’s not a 'comfort' sneaker like a modern runner, but that’s not why you buy this. The weight is standard, and the ankle support is great. You’re getting that true 1985-era "experience", for better or worse. Long-term wear thoughts? The cracked leather will "soften" nicely. The colorway is timeless - Varsity Red, Black, White... it goes with everything. My main "con" is the initial break-in period. It's real. But once they mold to your foot, it's that perfect, snug AJ1 fit. A true "grail" for many, now accessible. Who should maybe pass? If you're new to sneakers and want your first "super comfortable" pair — this isn't it. Also, if you prefer your kicks "pristine and clean", the intentional distressing will bug you. And if you're on a tight budget — there are more affordable (and comfier) Jordans in the series. It's a specific vibe. Conversely, who might want to skip it? If you prioritize cutting-edge comfort above all else, look at Jordan models with better cushioning. If you're on a tight budget, that $180 price tag is steep for a shoe with a classic (read: firm) feel. And if you dislike "any" pre-distressed details on your new kicks, this one will just frustrate you.
