It's for the style-conscious person who appreciates the heritage. Great first Jordan, too. At $135, it's a relatively accessible entry into the brand. You're buying into a legend, just in a more manageable low-top form. Comparing it to my other Jordans... It's "way" more "low-key" than an OG high-top, obviously. The profile is sleeker than, say, a Jordan 1 Mid. For the "price - roughly $120 USD" - it's a "solid" entry into the Jordan series if you want the "iconic" silhouette without the high-top commitment or the "super" premium price tag of some releases. Conversely, who might want to skip it? If you need maximum cushioning for long hours on your feet, look elsewhere. Also, if you're after super-limited, hyped releases... this isn't that. It's a well-made, accessible Jordan. And if you already own multiple similar colorways of the AJ1 Low, the SE details might not feel "different enough" to justify another purchase. For the review today: the Air Jordan 1 Low SE 'Atmosphere'. On feet, they feel exactly like you'd expect from a Jordan 1 Low – a firm, grounded ride. The 'SE' often means slightly different materials, and here you get a nice mix of textures. Pros? Timeless style, goes with everything. Cons? If you need major arch support or soft cushioning, "look elsewhere." For casual, everyday wear, they're perfect.
