This SE model – with its slightly different materials and color blocking – pops just enough without being too loud. It pairs so easily with jeans or shorts. I think the design team did a good job modernizing the look "just a bit". Compared to a standard AJ1 Low, this Air Jordan 1 Low SE feels a tad more contemporary, which I appreciate. On the downside? That classic AJ1 footbed is firm. If you need arch support or have wider feet, you might want to try them on first. Also, the leather, while decent, can crease. It's part of the look, but if you're a "keep them pristine" collector, daily wear might stress you out a bit! On feet review: The "Air Jordan 1 Low SE" delivers exactly what you expect. Classic looks, simple comfort. The tongue is thin, & the overall construction feels efficient. For me, it's a pro: no break-in drama. The possible con? It's "very" familiar. If you own several AJ1 Lows, this SE might not feel special – but it's a dependable workhorse. The biggest pro here is the styling, hands down. This specific colorway - with its muted tones - is incredibly easy to match. The quality of the suede is nice for the price point. However, the tongue is on the thinner side; it doesn't have that plush feel some might want. It's a trade-off for that sleek look.
