Verdict? Great for short walks & casual wear. They're breathable (for a leather shoe) & the low-cut design offers good freedom. Stylistically, it's a home run. Who's it for? Someone wanting a classic Jordan silhouette without the high-top commitment. Not for runners or those seeking max cushion, obviously. Is the Air Jordan 1 Low SE worth it? For me, yes – but with a caveat. The design is absolutely iconic, and lows are just easier to wear daily than Highs. However, if you have wider feet, "the narrow toe box on most Jordan 1s might be an issue." Try them on if you can. For narrow-to-normal feet seeking a staple sneaker, this is a no-brainer. Comparing it to my other Jordans... This "Air Jordan 1 Low SE" is much lighter and more low-profile than a high-top AJ1. Versus something like a Jordan 3 or 4? You're "definitely" sacrificing cushioning for that classic, sleek look. It's a different tool for a different job – pure lifestyle here. On foot, the profile is sleek! The lower cut and that slightly altered shape make it feel less bulky than a standard "Jordan 1 Low". It's a great casual shoe. However, if you're looking for cloud-like comfort – for all-day walking – this might "not" be your go-to. It's about style and that classic basketball heritage, "not" max cushioning.
