I’ve had some Lows that felt bulky, but this 'SE' model has a sleek profile. Wearing them, the break-in is minimal. They’re comfy right out of the box. Compared to a standard Jordan 1 High, you obviously lose some ankle support – but you gain a lot in versatility and a lighter feel. A great summer shoe, for sure. Who should "avoid" it? Hardcore performance seekers. The "Air Jordan 1 Low" isn't a tech marvel. If you have very wide feet, maybe try it on first. Also, if you already own multiple basic colorway AJ1 Lows, this SE version might not feel "essential". It's a great shoe, but know what you're buying: a style icon, not a comfort revolution. Just unboxed the Air Jordan 1 Low SE 'Black Olive', and I gotta say—I’m already impressed. The quality on this "specific" SE model feels great; materials are clean & the color blocking is so versatile. At $140, it's a solid entry into the Jordan series. The olive hits are subtle but really make it stand out from a basic black & white pair. On the downside? That classic AJ1 footbed is firm. If you need arch support or have wider feet, you might want to try them on first. Also, the leather, while decent, can crease. It's part of the look, but if you're a "keep them pristine" collector, daily wear might stress you out a bit!
