The 'SE' here means better materials and those small design tweaks — it just feels more "considered". You're getting a noticeable upgrade for usually just a small price bump. I've handled both, and this "Air Jordan 1 Low SE" simply has a nicer hand-feel. It justifies its place in the lineup for sure. Comparing it to my other Jordans... it's lighter than a Mid, & obviously more low-profile than a High. The SE version's details—like that stitched overlay—make it feel more special than a GR low. For $110, you're getting more design interest than the basic $100 model, which I appreciate. Who should skip it? If you need arch support or a super soft ride, this isn't your shoe. Also, if you already own multiple black/white/grey low-tops, this might feel redundant — though the SE details are a nice change. And for hardcore collectors only chasing OG colorways? This might not move the needle. It's a fantastic "daily wear" shoe, not necessarily a grail.
