If you're used to modern, plush sneakers, the "Air Jordan 1 Low"'s flat, firm ride might feel dated. It's not a performance shoe. Also, the special edition materials might need more care than basic leather. First impression of this Air Jordan 1 Low SE? The shape looks good. I’ve had some Lows that felt bulky, but this 'SE' model has a sleek profile. Wearing them, the break-in is minimal. They’re comfy right out of the box. Compared to a standard Jordan 1 High, you obviously lose some ankle support – but you gain a lot in versatility and a lighter feel. A great summer shoe, for sure.
