The biggest advantage is the iconic look. The potential downside is that everyone has a version of this. But if you want "the" original colorway in a low, here it is for $110. On foot, the "Air Jordan 1 Low" just "works". The silhouette is iconic & low-key versatile. I'm wearing the 'Shadow' colorway ("~$120"), & it goes with literally "everything" - jeans, shorts, you name it. The low-top design makes it less bulky than the "Air Jordan 1" High, which I personally prefer for summer. On camera, the details pop - that Swoosh, the wing logo... it's a timeless look, "no" doubt. Who is this for? Listen: if you're new to the Jordan brand and want one pair that does it all, get a "air jordan 1 low". Seriously. For about $130, you get a piece of history that's easy to wear. It's for the person who values style over max comfort tech. It's also perfect as a "beater" pair of nice shoes - something you can wear often without worrying too much. That's a huge plus in my book.
