Now, the not-so-great stuff. The obvious con is the comfort, or lack of "modern" comfort. The insole is thin, the midsole is firm. If you're on your feet all day, you "might" want more support. Also, some colorways use stiffer leather that needs a break-in period. It's not a performance shoe, so manage those expectations with this Jordan 1 model. In conclusion, the "Air Jordan 1 Low" is a certified classic for a reason. It does one thing incredibly well: looking good with minimal effort. The 'Black Cement' colorway I have is just fire. Manage your comfort expectations, appreciate the heritage, and you'll have a sneaker you'll reach for constantly. For me? It's a definite recommend for the style-conscious crowd. Just copped the "Atmosphere" "Air Jordan 1 Low" SE. The suede details are "really" nice in person—a big step up from the standard all-leather versions. On foot, they're breathable and lightweight. Compared to a bulkier Jordan 4... these are a dream for all-day wear. Major pro: killer looks. Con: that suede will need some babying if you live in a rainy area.
