Love 'em, but they're not for performance. Perfect for collectors & casual fans. Okay, on-feet review: The "Air Jordan 1 Low" is "lightweight" and super easy to slip on and off. That's a big plus for an everyday shoe. The toe box has a good amount of room. However, if you have "very" wide feet, the break-in might be a bit snug. Compared to a Jordan 1 High, it's less restrictive around the ankle. A great "starter" Jordan for sure. Unboxing this 'Stage Haze' colorway... the materials are "mixed"—some soft, some stiff. The sail midsole "already" looks vintage. It's a cool, "deconstructed" vibe. On feet, the fit is "true" to size for me. They break in fast. Just a "really" wearable shoe that gets better with a little creasing. Just opened these, and the colorway is what sold me – sometimes the Air Jordan 1 Low just gets the best simple palettes. First wear? The insole is basic, but the overall construction feels solid. They look even better on foot than in the box, in my opinion. If you compare it to an Air Force 1, the AJ1 Low is noticeably lighter and less bulky. The advantage here is pure, simple style. The disadvantage? That classic feel means classic, minimal cushioning. For around $100 USD, it's a fair deal for a legend. Ideal for someone building a versatile sneaker rotation. Not ideal for long standing sessions, to be honest.
