I'd avoid if your priority is cloud-like comfort from the get-go. Checking out this collab on the "Air Jordan 1 Low" platform. The materials are insane - but that's reflected in the $200+ price. The in-hand quality is next level. On feet, they're special, no doubt. However, the "core experience" is the same: same fit, same firm ride. The pros are all in the design and exclusivity. The con is the value proposition vs. a general release. This is for collectors and fans of the collaborator. For most people, a GR "Air Jordan 1 Low" at half the price makes more sense. Finally, the "Chicago" "Air Jordan 1 Low". The heritage is undeniable. Putting them on gives you that iconic vibe without the height of the OG. The leather is stiff at first but will mold to your foot. Is it worth it? For a classic colorway at a lower price point than the Highs... "absolutely". It's perfect for collectors and casual fans alike. Just don't expect cloud-like comfort. Now, the not-so-great stuff. The obvious con is the comfort, or lack of "modern" comfort. The insole is thin, the midsole is firm. If you're on your feet all day, you "might" want more support. Also, some colorways use stiffer leather that needs a break-in period. It's not a performance shoe, so manage those expectations with this Jordan 1 model.
