The break-in is real - the first day or two the heel felt a bit rigid, but now they're molding to my foot. The color is even better in natural light. A huge pro is the seasonal versatility; they work in summer and fall. A small con is the toe box creasing, but that's typical for this style. For $130 USD, you get a piece of sneaker history you can actually wear every day. I'm a fan. Now, a potential "con": if you need arch support or modern, plush cushioning, look elsewhere. The footbed is pretty flat. For some people, that’s a dealbreaker. Also, the ankle collar can rub a bit at first if you’re not wearing taller socks. It's a break-in thing, but worth mentioning. It’s style-first, tech-second. Now, the "not-so-great" part? The comfort tech is... basically "nonexistent". It's a cupsole from the "1980s". If you're on your feet all day, these "aren't" your best bet. Also, the "toe box" creases "super" easily - that's just the nature of the leather. If you're a comfort-first sneakerhead, this might be a dealbreaker. Okay, immediate thoughts on these Air Jordan 1 Lows: they are "light". The 'Neutral Grey' version is super clean and minimal. Putting them on, the break-in period is practically non-existent, which is a huge plus. Compared to the AJ1 Highs, these are way easier to just slip on and head out. I'd say these are perfect for someone who loves the Jordan 1 look but wants something less restrictive. Just don't expect a performance basketball feel - it's a lifestyle shoe through and through.
