If you already own several Jordan 1s, this is more of the same great formula. From an on-foot perspective, the ankle collar on this "Air Jordan 1 Mid SE" is perfect. It's not as restrictive as a High, giving you better range of motion. The toe box has a nice, roomy fit for my wider foot. It's a confident, stable feel. I'd choose this over many trendier shoes for its sheer wearability. The design is a proven winner. Just lace 'em up and go - that's the beauty of it. Now, a potential con. If you have "really" wide feet, the standard AJ1 Mid SE last might feel a bit restrictive. I'd suggest trying a pair on if you can. Also, purists who only rock Highs might overlook this model. But hey, that's their loss—this is a comfy, stylish shoe for the rest of us. On foot, this Mid SE version looks sharp. The color blocking is classic, and the satin panels add just a "little" something extra without being too loud. Compared to the Highs, the Mid cut is just more wearable for me day-to-day. It's a versatile shoe, period. You can dress it up or down easily.
