On foot, they feel secure, and the ankle collar gives good support (a signature of the Jordan 1 series). Compared to an AJ1 High OG, you're getting a slightly more accessible price and easier on/off. Downside? That classic flat sole offers minimal impact protection. Worth it for the style? For me, absolutely. If comfort is your #1 priority, you might want to consider something else entirely. Putting these Jordans on for the first time, the fit is pretty TTS for me. The comfort is... "honestly", it's a Jordan 1. You're getting that firm, supportive feel – not super plush. If you're used to modern cushioning, the Air Jordan 1 Mid SE might feel a bit stiff at first. But for everyday wear, it's totally fine. The collar padding is decent. Let’s be real—the main draw here is the look. This Mid SE version, in hand and on foot, has great details. The color blocking works so well with jeans or shorts. It photographs amazingly, too.
