The "Air Jordan 1 Mid SE" feels... familiar, in the best way. The mid-top height is my personal favorite—offers a nice silhouette without being restrictive. Walking around, they're stiff at first (typical), but they'll mold to your foot. Visually, this shoe is a chameleon; dresses up or down effortlessly. The biggest advantage? Its sheer versatility in any rotation. The possible downside is the common creasing on the toe box. If that bothers you, maybe pass. For everyone else? It’s a classic. Comparing it directly to a Jordan 1 High OG... the height difference is obvious. The Mid SE feels slightly less restrictive around the ankle, which some people prefer. You lose a little of that classic High OG profile, but you gain a bit of everyday practicality. For a simple, versatile sneaker? This Mid SE version is a solid yes for me. Now, a potential con. If you have "really" wide feet, the standard AJ1 Mid SE last might feel a bit restrictive. I'd suggest trying a pair on if you can. Also, purists who only rock Highs might overlook this model. But hey, that's their loss—this is a comfy, stylish shoe for the rest of us.
