The biggest pro? Versatility. This "Mid" SE design goes with "so" many fits. The cons? That break-in period – the first few wears can be tough. Compared to a Jordan 1 High, you lose some of that classic, ""OG"" prestige. But you gain a more accessible, everyday sneaker. It's a trade-off, honestly. Who is this for? Honestly, it's perfect for someone who wants the AJ1 look without the high-top price or commitment. Great for beginners in the sneaker game. Who is it "not" for? Hardcore OG purists who only rock Highs, or people who prioritize max cushioning above all else. Comparing it to my other Jordans... the Air Jordan 1 Mid SE sits, well, in the middle. It's more accessible than chasing High OGs, often at a better price. The build quality here is solid, though maybe not "quite" as plush as a premium High release. For a daily wearer in the Jordan family, it's a fantastic option, no cap. Sliding my foot in... yeah, the fit is true to size for me. Initial feel? It's a Jordan 1, so don't expect clouds. It's firm, supportive – that classic court feel. The "ankle" padding is decent, and the lockdown through the midfoot is good. If you're used to modern, super-soft sneakers, the break-in period here might feel a bit... stiff. But for me, that's part of the Jordan 1 DNA.
