However, the leather here is a bit stiff – it'll need a serious break-in period. If you love bold style and don't mind some initial discomfort, these are for you. If you prioritize soft materials right out the box, maybe look elsewhere. Is it perfect? Nah. The main con is the materials can be hit or miss. Some colorways use nicer leather, others use stiffer stuff. This one's okay. Also, if you have wide feet, go up half a size for sure. The break-in period is real. But once they mold to your foot, they're great. It's a classic for a reason, even in its Mid form. My honest review after wearing these all day: The "Air Jordan 1 Mid" is a legend for a reason. The silhouette is just perfect. For casual wear, running errands, even a light shootaround, they hold up. The $125 USD price tag feels fair for what you get – a piece of sneaker history. However, if you have a wider foot, you might find the fit a bit narrow. Consider trying a half-size up.
