The leather has a nice grain. Sliding them on, the ankle collar is padded just enough. They feel more flexible than older Mids I've owned. The all-white look is a summer killer, but be warned: they'll get dirty fast. A great, affordable alternative to the High OG versions, for sure. Is it worth the money? At "$125 USD", I’d say… yes, for the right person. You're paying for the iconic design and brand legacy of the "Jordan series". You're "not" paying for advanced cushioning. For a style-focused shoe that’s built well, it’s fair. I’d avoid paying huge resale, though. Grab a colorway you love at retail. Not for performance basketball, obviously, but for a lifestyle staple? Solid choice. Putting these on for a full day… the break-in period is real, folks! That leather needs some time to soften up around the toebox. Once it does, the fit is secure and snug. I appreciate the Mid’s height – it offers a bit more support than a low-top, but less bulk than the High. A great middle ground, honestly. If you’re new to sneakers or just want a reliable, stylish pair, the "Air Jordan 1 Mid" is a no-brainer. It's "so" easy to style. But if you need serious cushioning for all-day wear… maybe look elsewhere. For me? It’s a staple. I’ll always have a Mid or two in the rotation.
