The build is generally good, though material quality can vary by colorway. They feel secure, but the sole is stiff – no bending easily. This is a sneaker you buy for the look, period. It's perfect for someone who loves the Jordan 1 High style but wants a slightly different profile or a better deal. Not for the performance-focused athlete anymore. On feet, the look is just "timeless". I love how the "Jordan 1 Mid" profile works with jeans or shorts. The leather creases, yeah, but that’s part of the character. Compared to a Dunk, the toe box shape feels slightly more refined to me. It’s a simple, effective design that "always" looks good on camera. Alright, fresh out the box with these. This Air Jordan 1 Mid has a really nice, buttery leather on the swoosh - a nice surprise. On foot, they feel secure, good lockdown. Styling-wise, Mids sometimes get hate, but on feet, most people can't even tell the difference from a High. For $120 USD, you're getting the iconic silhouette. It's perfect for the casual wearer, not so much for a hardcore collector chasing only OG highs.
