Stitching is clean on my pair. The metallic leather is smooth. It's not a luxury leather, but it's durable. Compared to some recent "Jordan" releases, the consistency on Mids seems pretty solid. No major complaints here for $120 USD. On foot, the silhouette is just undeniably cool. It gives you that slight lift and the ankle support feels more substantial than a low-top. I'm wearing this "Light Smoke Grey" pair, and the quality is surprisingly decent for the price. Is it the "best" leather? No. But it looks great and creases in a classic way. For the cost, the Air Jordan 1 Mid delivers serious style per dollar. Comparing this "Air Jordan 1 Mid" to, say, a Jordan 1 High—you're getting a very similar look for less height. I actually prefer the Mid for my casual fits. The price, usually under $130, is a plus. Downside? Some purists will always favor the High. But for comfort and style in the "Jordan" series, the "Mid" holds its own. Now, the cons (gotta be honest). The cushioning is firm — not for long periods of standing/walking if you need support. Some purists still overlook the Mid vs. the High (but that’s their loss!). Break-in time is real; the ankle might feel stiff at first. If you prioritize ultimate comfort over style, this might not be your #1. It’s a classic, but not a comfort-tech masterpiece.
