Peeling back the tissue paper on this "Air Jordan 1 Mid" 'Court Purple' – the colors are vibrant and the leather has a nice grain. It's a statement piece. On foot, the ankle support is there, but the cushioning is minimal. If you're coming from a Yeezy or a New Balance, it's a stark difference. Pro: You get a piece of sneaker history. Con: Not the most practical for long-term wear. Best for collectors and style mavens. Unboxing this 'Triple White' "Air Jordan 1 Mid" – wow, these are crisp. The leather has a nice grain. Sliding them on, the ankle collar is padded just enough. They feel more flexible than older Mids I've owned. The all-white look is a summer killer, but be warned: they'll get dirty fast. A great, affordable alternative to the High OG versions, for sure. Comparing this "Air Jordan 1 Mid" to, say, a Jordan 1 High—you're getting a very similar look for less height. I actually prefer the Mid for my casual fits. The price, usually under $130, is a plus. Downside? Some purists will always favor the High. But for comfort and style in the "Jordan" series, the "Mid" holds its own.
